Best Brioche French Toast Bake

  • 1 loaf of Brioche, cut diagonal
  • 1 1/4 cups Heavy cream
  • 1/4 Water
  • 5 Eggs, add one additional yolk
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Orange zest
  • 1/4 cup Butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup Sugar


  • 1/4 Blueberries
  • 1/4 Raspberries
  • walnuts (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, mix your heavy cream, eggs, vanilla, honey, maple syrup, and orange zest.
  3. In a small bowl, slowly stir your melted butter into your sugar until smooth. Then add your butter and sugar to your large bowl and stir until well combined.
  4. Grab your Cast Iron skillet and spray with non-stick spray.
  5. Dip each Brioche slice in your french toast mix and then lay the slice in your pan any way you wish. Repeat this step until all of your bread is gone and then pour the remaining mixture over your toast.
  6. Top with berries, nuts and orange zest and bake for 35-45 min or until you see a browngolden crust along the edges.
  7. Remove from oven. Top with powdered sugar, berries and syrup and enjoy!
